Ayurveda: Principles for Daily Living

Ayurveda is a system of knowledge originating in the Vedic tradition, concerned with how we live in relationship to the body, the environment, and the rhythms of nature.
Taking place as we move into autumn, a period of transition - this retreat offers an introduction to how Ayurveda understands balance, routine, and daily living.
Across four days, we will explore foundational principles and how they can be carried into everyday life. The focus is not clinical or diagnostic, but introductory - offering a clear understanding of these ideas and how they can be applied in daily living.
Each day follows a steady rhythm, beginning with yoga and breathwork, and moving through workshops, time outdoors, and shared meals. Sessions include an introduction to Ayurvedic principles, Dinacharya (daily routine), the four pillars of Ayurvedic nutrition, and Ritucharya (seasonal living).
The retreat also includes practical elements - from hands on meal preparation and guided kitchen sessions to an evening of self-care practices - offering a direct experience of how Ayurvedic principles can translate into a lived routine.
OmLife is hosting this retreat in collaboration with Sarah from OhmVeda, at The ASHA Centre - a residential setting surrounded by nature.
This is an introductory retreat for those interested in understanding Ayurveda in a clear and practical way.

Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Once you receive your booking link, you will have the option to pay in instalments via Klarna.
How many people will be attending?
Most retreats are kept intentionally small, with around 20–30 participants.
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Where can I find the retreat schedule?

What is the cancellation policy?

If needed, you’re welcome to speak with the retreat host. Where possible, we may offer the option to transfer onto another retreat. Any difference in price would be adjusted accordingly.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. When booking, you’ll be asked to share any dietary requirements, allergies, or intolerances.
Our kitchen will do their best to accommodate these. Please note that we can reliably cater for recognised allergens and medical dietary needs. General preferences may not always be possible, but there will be a range of options available.
What if I’m booking on behalf of a friend?
You can complete the booking using your own details.
Please include your friend’s name, email address, and phone number in the notes section. We’ll contact them directly to collect any additional information required.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing is recommended.
